Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information, handled in compliance with PIPEDA and Canadian privacy law.

Overview

Wealth Bridge Group Benefits Inc. ("Wealth Bridge Group Benefits", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of the businesses, plan members, and families we work with. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is intended to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy law.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, contact details, and the details you share when you request a meeting, a Benefits Benchmark Report, or correspond with us. With your consent, and only where needed to deliver our services, we may also collect plan, census, claims, and benefits information relevant to your program, such as the plan booklet you share for benchmarking.

We collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as general usage and device data, to keep the site secure and improve it.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries, to prepare benchmark analyses, to design, implement, and manage your benefits program, to communicate with you, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and coordination

Obtaining the right coverage requires sharing information. Where your plan requires it, and with your authorization, we share relevant information with the insurers we approach for quotes and with the professional advisors involved in your plan. We require any service providers who handle information on our behalf to protect it to a comparable standard. Your data is stored on Canadian servers.

How we protect it

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here or as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to certain uses, subject to legal and contractual limits. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option, consistent with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
